Basics
We start with uber-basics like how to turn on the ultrasound machine and which are the 4 most important buttons to understand. This section is topped off with a brief talk on ultrasound physics.
Cardiac
You'll learn how to get the 4 cardinal bedside echo views. We'll teach you how to diagnose LV systolic dysfunction, RV strain, and tamponade.
Pulmonary
What's the difference between A-Lines and B-Lines? How can you diagnose pleural effusion, pulmonary edema, or pneumonia using ultrasound? Learn all that and more.
eFAST Exam
This series of short talks will train you to diagnose abdominal free fluid, pleural effusions and pericardial effusions.
Aorta and IVC
Learn how to diagnose an aortic aneurysm or dissection. You'll also find out how to get a good view of the IVC to assess central venous pressure.
Renal and Bladder
This series of talks will help you identify hydronephrosis and bladder outlet obstruction.
Vascular Access
This series of talks will show you how to use ultrasound to start a peripheral IV and how to place an ultrasound-guided central line.
Gastrointestinal
From cholelithiasis to bowel obstruction, from appendicitis to a Tanga Sign. You'll learn to diagnose the most important GI pathology.
Nerve Blocks
Landmark peripheral nerve blocks of the upper and lower extremity? Once you learn to use ultrasound to guide you, you'll never look back.
